School closure – Friday 15^th January 2021

 

Dear Parents and Carers,

 

The snow is due to stop this evening, but freezing conditions are forecast overnight and well into tomorrow, making driving conditions very difficult in the morning.

 

We have therefore taken the very difficult decision to close school to all children tomorrow. We do not want staff and families to have any accidents due to unnecessary travel, which will then put further pressure on the NHS.

 The decision has been made tonight to give our critical worker families time to arrange alternative childcare for tomorrow.

 

All children will be able to access remote learning through our Seesaw learning platform.

 

We apologise for the inconvenience this adverse weather has caused, but we know you will agree we have to put the health and safety everyone first.
