    New Hedge laid

    Great job Meteors and helpers, as today we planted around 150 young hedge plants at the top of the drive. What a shame I can't persuade the photo to turn the right way up! (Technology!)

    Autumn Term harvest

    Meteors were delighted to pull up handsful of gorgeous (but rather tangled!) carrots and a couple of good-sized onions to give to Carol (our school cook) and the kitchen team to add to school dinners last Friday.

    Vegbox jobs today!

    Today we thinned out our carrots, weeded our vegbox and created a new salad garden to hang on the front of our vegbox, made out of plastic bottles that Mrs Swift found in a bin on her maths course yesterday! We also used plastic bottle tops to make some fruit and vegetables to decorate our box. Here...

    Busy busy Meteors

    More veg planted today. Mrs B had sent us some tomato and courgette plants she had started off at home for us, and another of our Spring Term Meteors had brought their seedlings in to plant up.

    Planting up our Vegbox

    Today the Summer Term Meteors got together for the first time. We filled our new vegbox with compost and started to plant out the small plants we have been growing in pots.

    ECOgarden update

    Meteors played and worked in the woodland area and ECOgarden today.     onions planted

    Today we planted onion sets ready to over-winter, as well as some cornflowers we had been given to plant in our recycled garden. Now our old wellies, shoes and a teacup are blooming lovely!
