Watch the above video clip and use the ‘All about rockpool creatures’ powerpoint to learn about coastal habitats. What creatures, birds, plants would you find at the beach?

Activities

• Make a list of animals/plants you might find in beach habitats or complete the beach habitat sorting activity.
• Create a fact file about a rockpool sea creature. Find out what it eats, where it lives in the rockpool, how it might defend itself etc.
• Design a rockpool for your chosen sea creature. Think about what it might need to survive.
• Sketch some sea creatures that you would find in a rockpool.
