Bumblebees

We learned that the huge bumblebees we often see are queens. We already knew that there are many different types of bumblebees, but it was amazing to hold one (dead!) to feel how fluffy they are. As they have an 'exoskeleton' (no bones inside their body) their body doesn't decompose when they die, which is why you often see dead ones still looking fluffy.
