Huddersfield University Textile Project Showcase Day

Paul Hamlyn Foundation- Weaving together a Story of Place- Huddersfield University showcase day.

On Friday 24th June 22, 15 children from throughout the school went on a very exciting trip to Huddersfield University. They attended the Paul Hamlyn Foundations ‘Weaving together a Story of Place’ showcase day, with five other schools. They were able to teach a skill to other schools and learn new skills, to create a wonderful bug inspired headdress. The children worked with artists from the textile department and were able to see the magnificent end of degree fashion exhibition. It was an amazing opportunity for all involved and we hope it has inspired a many of the children for the future.
